Important Information about Version 2025+
Database Jump to Version 2025+
The STRAKON 2025+ version features a database jump for several important STRAKON data (drawings, Flex-Parts/3D
embedded parts, etc.). This means that these data are stored after being read in or Edits in STRAKON 2025+ are no longer compatible with STRAKON <2025+. If you are working on projects with multiple users, please consider whether you should finish the project in the previous version of STRAKON or directly update all STRAKON calculators with STRAKON 2025+. This then also applies to the data transfer to external STRAKON suppliers.
Installation
Parallel installation
If you selected the Install additional files for the semi precast parts module option when you installed the previous version of STRAKON, this setting is automatically applied to all subsequent installations. However, you can also turn it off.
Configurations
Settings
*Master data extended
Under the Settings category, the folder of user data ..\strakon\settings\AdditionalToolbar is now also displayed for the Sets of the toolbars in the Cube. The sets are automatically and functionally created in subfolders, e.g. ..\strakon\settings\AdditionalToolbar\Modeling.CreateWallOpening for the additional bars of the function Wall Opening, see settings of the Master Data.

Project settings
*Schöck Isolink measurement protocol
For the Isolink calculation, you can submit a protocol with the measurement results. For this purpose, you can select the file format (TXT file) and the language for the output, see Protokoll der Bemessung Schöck Isolink.
3D - Modeling
General
*A loaded set is now displayed directly with its name in the toolbar. If you change the settings in the toolbar, the name is marked with an asterisk in real time, see Additional Toolbar.
*Selected display for the categories in the dialog boxes is retained
In the dialog boxes, the display of a collapsed category is retained after leaving the dialog box in order to allow a clearer display of the options, see Dialog boxes in Cube.
*The query when closing an editor (general profile, wall profile, embedded part profile, groove profile) has been improved/standardized.

Cube - Functions
*Automatically generate cutting height height
In the Sections function, you can now have the section height generated automatically from the entities of the active submodel or project level, and from the entities of the model in the project model shop drawing.
*Import reinforcement from IFC file
When reading an IFC file, 3D/Cube reinforcement (rebar) is now also imported, see function File.
*Imported 2D graphic over section retains layer structure
Even if you import a 2D graphic over a Section, the layer structure remains intact and you can toggle the visibility of existing layers of the 2D graphic, see function Graphic.
*Schöck Isolink measurement protocol
For the Isolink calculation, you can submit a protocol with the measurement results, see function Isolink.
*Decouple dimensions in stair view to maintain manual dimension changes
If the automatically calculated dimensions of a stair view are subsequently manually edited or additional dimensions are added, you can decouple the dimensions in a stair view to make your changes persist when the 3D view is updated., see Maße entkoppeln zur Beibehaltung manueller Maßänderungen.
*Use the View Box (Cube) to color the overlaps of rebar by turning the option Übergreifungen Stabstahl on.
Project Model - General
*The presentation of the project backup and its dependent partial backups in the dialog is now more structured. The project backups are listed with a numbering from 1 upwards. The dependent partial backups are also counted and located below, see function Restore Backup.
*On the File tab, the Copy work directory function has been renamed to Copy Project.
*The new Export Project function on the File tab now allows you to export an entire project as a ZIP file.
*If you now open an exported project in STRAKON, the default master data are ignored and the project's own data and management files are read, see Open exported project model in STRAKON.
*For large work directories with many drawings, you now have the option to cancel the save operation when you save the drawings to the current version, see Open Project Model in Higher Version.

Submodels
*Extended identification of the submodels in the tree structure
If the submodel is locked by another user, the name of this user also appears in the tooltip in the tree structure, see Kennzeichnung der Teilmodelle in der Baumstruktur.
*In the configuration of the submodels, for a better overview of submodels that you cannot detach from the model because you are connected to the currently open drawing due to placed 3D views with Cube reinforcement, no more check boxes are displayed, see Teilmodelle / Ordner konfigurieren.
Project Model - Cube - Views
General
*In the reinforcement label, you can now also load the settings of the additional toolbar from a set and save them in a set in the Laying and Bending Shape functions, see Einstellungen der Zusatzleiste laden / speichern.
*The labeling of reinforcement in the Cube view of a general arrangement is now also possible for Flex-Parts, see group Reinforcement label.
*In the Cube view of a laying field with bars in max. delivery length, all items of the complete laying field are now labeled.
*Color coding and new link symbol in the tree structure
The active Cube view that you are currently editing is now marked with an orange check mark in the tree. If the Cube view is being processed by another user, a gray lock and the user's name will appear in the tooltip, analogous to the submodel, see Kennzeichnung der Cube-Sichten in der Baumstruktur.
*You can now output several selected Cube views simultaneously as a 3D view in the drawing, see function Export to Drawing as 3D View.

Objects
*Label dimension chain with description text
You can now label each dimension chain with a Description. In addition, you can display the description text with a Frame and determine the position of the text as well as the distance to the dimension chain and the line type of the frame in the dimension settings, see function Dimension.
Reinforcement - Cube / 3D
General
*When creating the representations of 3D/Cube reinforcement, you can now automatically update the 3D view with reinforcement immediately after calling up the function Representations 3D / Cube reinforcement in the additional function toolbar activate/deactivate.
*Already at the export of the 3D view into the drawing, you can display the bars without labeling for the display of 3D/Cube reinforcement. To do this, use the display type to select the new Eisendarstellung ohne Beschriftung function. You can either omit the item numbers at will or use the new Nplo-Positionsnummer function (in the additional function toolbar) to render them non-plotting.
*You can now additionally determine in the settings for the representations of 3D/Cube reinforcement that the Nplo representations of 3D/Cube reinforcement are assigned to a determines plane by switching on the Nplo-Darstellung in Ebene: ... function when the 3D view is export in the drawing.
*In the Rebar or Meshes tab > group Edit general, the Stirrup closure function has been renamed to Alignment (Change the alignment of the bending shape).
*When editing a laying, an arrow now marks the starting point of the laying. The blue arrow indicates that the laying section is being edited. When the endpoint is confirmed, the arrow changes color to yellow, see function Laying.
*When an joggle is entered, the legs to be corrected are marked blue for information and the direction of the joggle is indicated by an arrow. When you click in the input field of the toolbar, the corresponding area of the joggle is highlighted in blue, see function Joggles.
*When entering and correcting bar and overlap lengths for bars greater than the maximum delivery length, the bar joint is marked blue for information, see function Maximum Delivery Length.
*To select objects, you can use the new Angebundene Objekte in geladenen Teilmodellen finden (F4) function in the toolbar to find attached reinforcement to a selected object or to find objects to which the reinforcement is attached to a selected reinforcement.

Input Rebar
*You can now directly enter a fixed length for the standard Wire bending form, see function Stablänge über feste Achslänge bestimmen.
*You can now select Fan laying for laying bending shapes, see function Fächerverlegung.
*When entering a laying, you can now Swivel bars. You can subsequently switch the swivel off and on, see function Eisen verschwenken.

Edit General
*If you entered a negative value when you entered the concrete cover, it is now displayed when you modify, see function Concrete Cover.
*Load reinforcement including rebar label from library, see function Library, Bewehrung aus Bibliothek laden.
For a selected area within a laying field, you can now edit the concrete cover, hooks, and legs. You can use the object data to change the steel grade, diameter, standard bending shape, number and distance of the bending shape.
You can now specify the bar and overlap lengths for bars greater than the maximum delivery length for a selected area within a laying field.
The position of a machined area in the laying field remains bound and maintained, even if the geometry of the laying field changes, e.g. by extruding a surface.

Display
*You can now color the overlaps of rebar using the Overlaps function.
Semi Precast Part
*Handover rebar leg lengths
In the case of the unitechnik dispensing, the leg lengths of bent bars such as U shape and stirrups are now dispensed with reference to the outer edges.

Slab
*Labeling of the support
The labeling of the support is now shown indented from the ceiling edge by the value of the support. Thus, the text is free on the slab.
*Labeling of the support without indication of the bending shape
If you select BF00 as the support type for an even bar without a bending shape, this is omitted from the support text, see Support > Biegeform function.

Wall
*Schöck Isolink measurement protocol
For the Isolink calculation, you can submit a protocol with the measurement results, see function Isowall Create.
