Important Information about Version 2025+
Database Jump to Version 2025+
The STRAKON 2025+ version features a database jump for several important STRAKON data (drawings, Flex-Parts/3D
embedded parts, etc.). This means that these data are stored after being read in or Edits in STRAKON 2025+ are no longer compatible with STRAKON <2025+. If you are working on projects with multiple users, please consider whether you should finish the project in the previous version of STRAKON or directly update all STRAKON calculators with STRAKON 2025+. This then also applies to the data transfer to external STRAKON suppliers.
Configurations
Settings
Master data extendedUnder the
Settings category, the folder of user data
..\strakon\settings\AdditionalToolbar is now also displayed for the
Sets of the toolbars in the Cube. The sets are automatically and functionally created in subfolders, e.g.
..\strakon\settings\AdditionalToolbar\CreateWallOpening for the additional bars of the function
Wall Opening, see settings of the
Master Data.
3D - Modeling
General

A loaded set is now displayed directly with its name in the toolbar. If you change the settings in the toolbar, the name is marked with an asterisk in real time, see
Additional Toolbar.

Selected display for the categories in the dialog boxes is retained
In the dialog boxes, the display of a collapsed category is retained after leaving the dialog box in order to allow a clearer display of the options, see
Dialogboxen im Cube.

The query when closing an editor (general profile, wall profile, embedded part profile, groove profile) has been improved/standardized.
Cube - Functions

Import reinforcement from IFC file
When reading an IFC file, 3D/Cube reinforcement (rebar) is now also imported, see function
File.

Imported 2D graphic over section retains layer structure
Even if you import a 2D graphic over a
Section, the layer structure remains intact and you can toggle the visibility of existing layers of the 2D graphic, see function
Graphic.

Decouple dimensions in stair view to maintain manual dimension changes
If the automatically calculated dimensions of a stair view are subsequently manually edited or additional dimensions are added, you can decouple the dimensions in a stair view to make your changes persist when the 3D view is updated., see
Maße entkoppeln zur Beibehaltung manueller Maßänderungen.
Project Model - General
Submodels

Extended identification of the submodels in the tree structure

In the configuration of the submodels, for a better overview of submodels that you cannot detach from the model because you are connected to the currently open drawing due to placed 3D views with Cube reinforcement, no more check boxes are displayed, see
Teilmodelle / Ordner konfigurieren.
Project Model - Cube - Views
General

Color coding and new link symbol in the tree structure
The active Cube view that you are currently editing is now marked with an orange check mark in the tree. If the Cube view is being processed by another user, a gray lock and the user's name will appear in the tooltip, analogous to the submodel, see
Kennzeichnung der Cube-Sichten in der Baumstruktur.
Objects

Label dimension chain with description text
You can now label each dimension chain with a
Description. In addition, you can display the description text with a
Frame and determine the position of the text as well as the distance to the dimension chain and the line type of the frame in the dimension settings, see function
Dimension.
Reinforcement - Cube / 3D
General

When editing a laying, an arrow now marks the starting point of the laying. The blue arrow indicates that the laying section is being edited. When the endpoint is confirmed, the arrow changes color to yellow, see function
Laying.

When an joggle is entered, the legs to be corrected are marked blue for information and the direction of the joggle is indicated by an arrow. When you click in the input field of the toolbar, the corresponding area of the joggle is highlighted in blue, see function
Joggles.

When entering and correcting bar and overlap lengths for bars greater than the maximum delivery length, the bar joint is marked blue for information, see function
Maximum Delivery Length.
Input Rebar

You can now select
Fan laying for laying bending shapes, see function
Fächerverlegung.

When entering a laying, you can now
Swivel bars. You can subsequently switch the swivel off and on, see function
Eisen verschwenken.
Edit General
For a selected area within a laying field, you can now edit the concrete cover, hooks, and legs. You can use the object data to change the steel grade, diameter, standard bending shape, number and distance of the bending shape.
You can now specify the bar and overlap lengths for bars greater than the maximum delivery length for a selected area within a laying field.
The position of a machined area in the laying field remains bound and maintained, even if the geometry of the laying field changes, e.g. by extruding a surface.
