Parallel installation
Select whether the user data should be installed separately for each user or for all users.
Optionally, you can apply the settings from an installed STRAKON version that is one version smaller, e.g. from version 2024+ to 2025, by selecting the Import settings from the version 20XX option.
To be taken over:
*plotter/printer drivers (only *.use except standard*.use, plotter.ger and sysfplot.ini) and redirection files
*tablet configuration, screen setting, layer sets, colors, editor setting
*Excel template files, images from template directory, input dimensions, text modules
*company header data, backup file (secur.sic), data delivery settings (PPS, BVBS, etc.)
*preset sets, mapping files for DWG/DXF import/export
*settings of the dialog for backup states, itemization (all SYS files)
*settings for automatic point catch, installation-s.dat for PPS delivery
*master data administration strasys.ini
*settings for detailed lists (output lists) of rebar lists in the strasys.vor file
*definition files for drawing mats and settings from the Settings > Basic Settings menu
*the directory ..\strakon\ftele (settings of the material administration, e.g. reinforcement categories, part type management, article management)
*the ..\strakon\settings directory (except Standard-Werk subfolder) (regardless of whether you are installing the user data separately or for all users) contains the AdditionalToolbar (settings of additional toolbars), DWG (plot style tables) and viewbox (sets of view box) subfolders and the userprefs.toml file (workstation-related settings, e.g. for Cube views)
 
All files are copied locally to the default directories of the newly installed version.
Update installation
Select the version on which you want to install the current STRAKON version. All files are copied only to the local default directo-ries, e.g. fixtures to ...\ebt.
Place a STRAKON 20XX link on the desktop
Turn on the option to create a desktop shortcut for the STRAKON program.
Install additional files for the semi precast parts module
Enable the option to install additional files that are needed specifically for the semi precast parts module, e.g. reinforcement categories and templates for the view box.
