Pointer Commands

Key assignment: Key commands [Ctrl] + [Alt] + [F]
The crosshair is in many ways the essential input medium in the graphic field. In addition to triggering functions, identifying design or drawing elements, and entering elements using the crosshair, you can create so-called pointer commands (known as mouse gestures) that can alternatively trigger (start and confirm) certain functions. Regardless of where the crosshair is located, a pointer command allows you to "trigger" it more easily and quickly.
To create a pointer command, you must use the left mouse button or the pin tip configured separately (see Settings > Tablet Configuration menu) to draw the corresponding icon.
The symbol appears as a freehand line and the function is triggered.

Note
You can also use pointer commands in the user interface, e.g. in the dialogue boxes (see Activate a function in the user interface).
